Celebrating the birth of Christ

Dear friends,

The above verse, taken from the art of Sr. Doris Klein, draws us into the Mystery of Incarnation and gifts us with a challenge for the New Year. Into the quiet, perhaps disturbed heart of our lives and world comes a star of HOPE. Fr. Gittins suggest that

Even if our hopes are felled and fog still seems to block the sun’s light – winter will surrender to spring; moribund redwood trees will rise again; a shoot shall sprout from the stump of Jesse; and hope will come again with the sunrise – and the Son Rise – of the Incarnation.

Anthony Gittins, CSSp

May all of us hear and listen to the invitation to BE the courageous, contagious cry of Christmas hope for all whose paths will daily cross ours throughout the coming year.

We, the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood of the North American Province, wish you and your loved ones a very blessed Christmas and God’s gracious gifts for the New Year.

Sr. Monica Mary, CPS and all the sisters
